Customer Engagement Manager

RAIN Group, an award-winning global provider of innovative sales training and performance improvement services, is seeking a Client Engagement Manager (CEM) to add to our expanding team.

This is a remote role based in the US.

About You

You have:

  • A "client-centric" attitude; you live and breathe client results and are relentless around achievement
  • A demonstrated "thinker" with an ability to self-motivate and think outside the box to identify value for clients
  • Strong aptitude for business and experience in client management and/or account development activities that deliver value
  • Very strong writing, editing, and analytical interpretation skills
  • A strong communicator with a willingness to respectfully say no, when it’s the right thing to do—especially to the client
  • Excellent people skills, project management, and detail orientation in order to deep dive into processes as, and when, required
  • High attention to detail and process
  • Day-to-day accountability for the client results within the account
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple clients and projects


You'll work within our Client Team and be responsible for the management of RAIN Group client accounts. The CEM will work alongside the RAIN Group Lead Consultant, Delivery Team, and Client Operations to manage the end-to-end journey to results attainment across RAIN Group clients.

Responsibilities include:

  • Drive the RAIN Group Client Results strategy through partnership, process, and oversight
  • Project manage client engagements to ensure seamless execution, custom design, and details are managed/produced on time and on budget
  • Partner with the sales team to strengthen commercial client relationships to grow/retain accounts
  • Establish measures of success/KPIs with clients and develop a client-side process to track and achieve
  • Day-to-day accountability for the client results within the account
  • Be the single point of contact/primary interface for the client and, where possible, single interface to improve the client experience
  • Drive the Lead Consultant, Delivery Team, and Client Operations activities for each RAIN Group engagement within the account
  • Streamline coordination and client communication

Position Requirements
  • Undergraduate/bachelor's degree and minimum 10-15 years of professional experience that demonstrates your mastery in sales enablement/account management in an energetic, results-focused business environment
  • Attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects with many moving parts and tight deadlines
  • Significant facilitation/training experience; confident in front of an audience with structured content
  • Commercial acumen correlated with relative sales experience
Compensation and Benefits

Compensation is a competitive base salary plus commission. We offer health insurance through Tufts Health Plan, dental insurance, 401k plan and a generous mix of all-purpose vacation, sick, and personal days.
